Stand Tall–Don’t Fall

Online Classes

Improve your flexibility, posture, balance, and energy through a series of simple, adaptable movements that can be done seated or standing. Drawing from from over 100 sensory motor activities, strength and balance training exercises, and cognitive and spatial awareness tasks, you will experience reduced stress and tension, and a greater sense of well-being, and the confidence to stand tall.

Two Levels to Accommodate All Abilities

  • Stand Tall–Don't Fall

Stand Tall–Don’t Fall is done seated for the first 40 minutes of class and then we incorporate standing for simple, rhythmic, whole-body movements to music during the remainder of class. This level is appropriate if you do not have significant physical or cognitive limitations and want to:

    • improve your balance and confidence when walking, navigating stairs, or on uneven ground
    • increase your mental clarity and alertness
    • in general, feel more alive, uplifted, and engaged with life

  • Think Tall–Don't Fall

For survivors of brain injury or brain trauma.

Hosted by the Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona (BIAAZ), each class is designed and taught by Christina. As a series, this program is among the most popular offered by BIAAZ and is intended for survivors of all types of brain injury or brain trauma. Weekly classes are online and free for those who qualify.

The class is done seated with an option to stand for some movements and accommodations are provided for those with limited mobility or who use a wheelchair.
