  • For the Stand Tall–Don’t Fall Level ONE class, you will need a sturdy chair with a firm seat, without rollers. If you are in a wheelchair, please apply the brakes so it does not roll. No recliners or couches. This class is done seated. If you require assistance in any way, it is required that you have someone with you throughout each class. Please continue reading how to Prepare Your Space, below.

  • For the Stand Tall — Don’t Fall Level TWO class, you will need a firm chair, as most of the class is done sitting. The last 15 to 20 minutes we are standing behind our chairs, although all movements can be adapted for sitting if needed. The chair should be sturdy with a firm seat, without rollers. No recliners or couches. Please continue reading how to Prepare Your Space, below.

    1. Computers or an iPad or Tablet are preferred devises and must have video and audio. Smart phones are discouraged as they are difficult to stabilize for video.

    2. Plan to have your space setup before you join the online class. Please join 10-15 minutes prior to the start of each class/session so we can do an audio and video check.

    3. Be sure you have enough space in front of your computer or tablet to place your chair 4 to 6 feet from the computer so I can see at least down to below your knees when you are seated.

    4. The small image in the upper left or right corner of your screen is the image that I see, so you can check your positioning there.

    5. For lighting, please face a window, have a light source in front of you, or have all the lights on in the room. Close any curtains/blinds behind you so there is no back-lighting to avoid being in shadow.

    6. Have a glass of water nearby as we sip water throughout the class. And also have a non-stretchy strap available. This could be a yoga strap, a dog’s leash, a belt, or a long, strong scarf.

    7. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move. You do not need to dress in gym clothes.

    8. Please note: your video must be turned on throughout the class/session. For safety reasons, it is essential that I can see you and guide you when needed.

    1. Download the Zoom app if you don’t already have it. You can download the Zoom app onto any computer or smart phone. If you are using an iPad or Tablet, go to the App Store or GooglePlay to download the app prior to your first Zoom session.

    2. Test Zoom on your computer.

    3. When you register for class, you will receive an email with a link to the class or session for which you have registered. If you have registered for a series, you will use the same link each time to join.

    4. Click the link provided in your email and you will automatically enter the meeting space. Your audio and video will be on so we can see and hear each other. It is important, as the instructor, that I see each person so please keep your video on.

    5. If you are using a desktop or laptop, please choose “Speaker View.” You will find this in the upper right-hand corner under “View.” Or, you can “pin” my video: Move your cursor to the upper left or right hand corner of my image and click on the three dots. In the drop-down menu click “pin video.” This will hold my image as the largest one to allow you to see me clearly. iPads and Tablets automatically hold my image as the largest.

Join us online 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start time so we will be ready to begin at the appointed time.

  • There are no refunds; however, if you are unable to attend a class, someone may attend in your place. Please email me or call (928) 863-0595 to make arrangements.
