How I Work.

I believe anyone who desires growth can make the changes needed to heal and shift their life toward their fullest potential to reach success. Whether you are seeking a minor tune-up or need a major transformation, I provide a safe space for thoughtful self-exploration through guided body-centered therapy – simple movements and small shifts in thinking.

 

At the core of our work together is NeuroLinguistic Programming and other movement therapies. Simple movements and small shifts in your thinking are all that is needed to create lasting change. And, together, they are powerful methods to help your brain function better.

Our focus is to create positive change by setting forward-looking goals. Using the Five Step Balance Process we establish your desired outcome and then re-wire your neural system to achieve it.

Be prepared for rapid change as you perceive a new reality through the varied processes, strategies, and movement patterns that re-align your neural networks. We clear out the old, tangled patterns that underlie unwanted behaviors and establish new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Those things that have kept you stuck will be released and replaced by new patterns that are, simply, liberating.

I believe you already have everything within you that you need to overcome obstacles and deal with challenges; it just needs to be drawn out.

There are no mistakes; you do the best you can with what you know at the time. Once you know more, you’ll do things differently.

And I know that what you do is not who you are. Behind every behavior, no matter what it may be, is a positive intention. What you are ultimately striving for is the innate desire to be happy.

I am committed to helping you reach your full potential, your child to learn more easily, or your teen to navigate the rocky road of adolescence. I have seen adults release decades-old trauma; couples strengthen their relationship; those with brain injuries regain more function; and seniors be more at ease, feel safer, and be happy as they move through the aging process.

I have helped children, teens, and adults find a new sense of self, develop successful life skills, and feel more alive, energetic, and whole. They experience themselves and the world around them in a different, more open, positive way, they feel comfortable in their bodies, and the world becomes a place of opportunity.

Drawing from over 100 sensory motor activities, strength and balance training exercises, and cognitive and spatial awareness tasks, you will activate your mind and body for whole brain functioning.
